Podiatric Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the action of penetrating the skin with a needle.

It has been shown that acupuncture produces a therapeutic benefit and acts to improve localized healing, reduction of pain in the area where the needle is inserted and in the whole body.

Acupuncture also can have a calming effect inducing a feeling of relaxation and well being. Western Formulary Method of acupuncture is used which does incorporate some of the traditional Chinese methods.
